Limitation of liability
Events can be postponed or canceled even on the day and therefore it is critical that you check with the event organiser before making any plans, traveling or relying on the data present in our listings.
The Start List accepts no liability for any costs due to errors in event information.

Event Errors, Cancelation or Postponement
All Listings are submitted to ATDW by the event organiser and go through an approval process before being made live.
We cannot however guarantee that the information provided to ATDW is error free as it is reliant on each individual event organiser to maintain their listings and update them in a timely manner.
We update all our listings automatically at 12:01 am AEST every 24 hours. From time to time the ATDW feed may not be available and therefor there may be a delay in retrieving updated information.
Manual Event Submission
- Events that have been submitted to us manually are subject to review prior to adding to our calendars.
- Events will be removed from the site once they are over.
- We reserve the right not to publish content we deem unsuitable.
- If your event appears on the Start List without your permission please contact us immediately so we can remove it.
- Event submission is provided as a free service to clubs and organisers not wishing to submit their events to The Australian Data Warehouse. As such ongoing editing and update of events is subject to a fair usage agreement.
- Edits submitted to us via email will be completed within 7 working days of receipt.
Image Copyright
All images that appear on event listings have been provided to us by the event organiser or through ATDW and must be free of any copyright or usage restrictions.
If you have any copyright claim or objection please contact the event organiser direct to request removal.
If your image appears on our site without being credited to you please don’t hesitate to contact us immediately as we have no intention of using images we don’t have permission to use.
Content Removal
If you do not want your event listed on the start list please email us through our contact page and we will remove you from our site. We will confirm removal through the event contact details associated with the event.
We may choose not to display events that we deem not suitable or offensive this is at our discretion. If your event is not present and meets or content guidelines, please contact us.
Categorising Events
We endeavour to categorise events based on the information provided to us in the event description. If we have not correctly categorised your event please let us know through our contact page.
External Links
We accept no liability for any external links including booking, website and email and highly recommend that when browsing the internet you take the necessary steps to always secure your data.
Please report any issues with event listing links directly to the event organisers.
Mapping & Directions
All mapping on The Start List is created from data submitted to us by each event organiser and therefore accepts no liability for issues as a result of incorrect mapping or directions.
